Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus Christ,
As you know, these are some turbulent and very ugly times in which we are living. But bless the living God, we do not have to deal with them as those who have no hope! It is imperative we remain mindful of who we are in Christ Jesus so that we represent Him well – especially when posting to social media.
As believers, and especially ministry leaders, we are not supposed to be conformed to this world . . . our very lives must be pleasing and acceptable to our Lord. (Romans 12:2)
As you continue doing what the Lord has called, anointed, and appointed you to do, we exhort you to please also remember that you are to set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. See 1 Timothy 4:12 (emphasis mine).
While all things may be lawful for us as believers, they may not be expedient or edify the Saints (1 Corinthians 10:23). So, before saying or doing anything, we implore you to ask the Lord this question: Father God, will this honor You?
We are praying that the grace, peace and blessings of the Lord rest upon you.
