​Summit of Light, founded in Colorado in 1999, is a small all-volunteer Christian ministry.  Our sacred mandate is to support our brothers and sisters of the clergy through intercessory prayer and sponsored restorative retreats for those serving small to medium-sized congregations or ministries.

Despite volunteer numbers fluctuating over the years, Minister Lyons and Minister Bethea have faithfully served as the ministry's primary co-laborers since 2017.

We provide intercessory prayer cover to pastors and ministers affiliated with Fostering Leadership and Ministry Excellence (FLAME).  Additionally, we give monthly donations to and pray for the leaders and ministry teams of:  En Gedi Retreat in Colorado, founded by Carl Walker; World Harvest Church Assemblies of God in Kahama, Tanzania under the leadership of Bishop Emmanuel Array Gewe; and Friend Ships Unlimited, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief ministry founded by Don and Sondra Tipton, that's headquartered in Louisiana.

Summit of Light comes under the spiritual covering of Bishop Dwight S. Riddick, Sr., the presiding prelate of FLAME, and senior pastor of Gethsemane Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia.
